How to Put Your Flaws on Display

It’s pretty ironic that the day after I said I’d post daily, I don’t post at all. And then proceed to not post the day after either.

“That’s not ironic. That’s just lazy and embarrassing.”

Shut up brain.

Anyway, broken promises aside, it’s been June for a solid three days. We’re officially halfway through 2016. No better time to dust off those resolutions that I made eons ago. This time around though, it’s not going to be in a mere blog post where it gets buried weeks later. The idea is that if I put it out there into public, the pressure will be on.

Then again, the pressure was supposed to be on already…

Nevertheless here we go.

There’s a spiffy new page on my navigation bar that’s called “Projects.” Here you’ll find a master list of all the ongoing projects I (want to) have, along with a brief description, as well as a link to its respective page (if it has one). More detailed plans and progress are on these pages.

However, this isn’t just a cursory post to talk about a separate page. On the first day of every month, I’ll post the mini-goals I hope to accomplish by end of said month. There’ll also be an analysis of my progress from the month before–what I did well, what I did poorly, and numbers galore!

June 2016

  • Go to the gym three times a week.
  • Enroll in a summer course.
  • Write at least 500 words every day.
  • Write 22 blog posts.
  • Read four books.
  • Watch two movies.
  • Find a place to steadily volunteer at.

Here’s to doing a better job from this point forward.
